About PONTIAC Covers

About Pontiac

Pontiac has produced advanced luxury and sports cars with the highest level of construction throughout the 20th century.

Named after a famous Native American chief, Pontiac was intended to emphasize the "American-ness" of GM's design bureau. Big, powerful and beautiful, Pontiac cars from the GTO to the Grand Am are admired for the classic styling that they exemplified. Although Pontiac was eliminated in the 2008 bailout, the cars they built in the 50s, 60s and 70s are still highly sought after. This is especially true in the UK where they were rare. They are especially rare in if they are right-hand drive. Pontiac sold somewhat better in France and Germany. The vast majority of cars in Europe were imported through the "gray market" instead of traditional retailers.

  • Like a portable garage! by Mr. Bob Rating: 4 star rating 4 out of 5
I have a not-yet-vintage but collectible car--a 2002 Trans Am. I have had to recently move it out of my garage, and I was understandably concerned about the car's welfare in the elements. The cover, thus far, appears to be just the ticket! It deploys in a couple of minutes and removes even more quickly.
  • A Good Product by Ramblin' Man Rating: 4 star rating 4 out of 5
I use this product to keep my nice 1963 Pontiac shielded from the elements. Your car covers are very durable and easy to take on and off.One suggestion I'd like to make is possibly putting tie-down eyelets not just in the bottom center of the cover, but also in the bottom front and bottom rear. This would enable the cover to be anchored and tucked securely over the entire length of the car. Granted not all cars my require this, but it would be a nice added feature should the need be present.Thank you again for your [...] product!
