Empire Covers sent us a sample that we tried on an Auto123.com staffer's car, a Grabber Blue 2011 Ford Mustang GT. This car cover is called the Titan and is manufactured by Budge, a company who has been making them for nearly 70 years.

Titan Quatro 4L Car Cover Review


I was initially surprised by the level of quality and craftsmanship that went into manufacturing this cover. The cloth was soft and durable while still maintaining shape and not being too flimsy or thin to actually protect the car. The cover is manufactured in four layers; three layers of Polypropylene and an inside layer of Fleece to prevent scratches. Despite being four layers, it appears to be well-ventilated, which will prevent rot and mildew.

The Empire Car Cover site was easy to use and I was able to select a cover appropriate to my needs. The Empire Car Cover arrived quickly and was as-described, and fit my Cadillac. It appears to be well constructed, and I am happy with the quality. I believe that the under-car Gust Guard straps will act to keep the cover in place, but I will have to test that in the wind to confirm.

While checking the cover, I paid particular attention to the stitching. I was glad to see that the seams were double stitched. This will go a long ways in keeping the cover from coming apart down the road. Did I mention "The Max" cover comes with a lifetime warranty? You can't give that to your customers when the cover isn't a quality product.

These truck covers come with everything needed to use -- no need for additional straps or cords! They don't tear easy like some cheap covers or tarps, they really could last a long time! The cover is made of polypropylene and is vented along the top edge.We found that there were zippers on one end and along one side. The zippers on the side allow access to your doors. The zippers on each corner of the end allow access to the rear of your RV and would be real handy if you had a toy hauler.

The cover itself has air vents to help reduce wind lofting and also allows trapped moisture to escape. The top of the cover is made of three layers to repel rain, snow, and UV rays, the sides of the cover are single layer polypropylene and also UV resistant. We get some awful weather here in New England at times, especially in the winter, so its important that the cover can protect the camper from the ice and snow.

The RV cover I picked was the Truck Camper Cover. I have tried a few covers before and none of them has fit it as well as this cover! I have some serious trouble getting previous covers to fit my camper correctly but using the Empire Covers Truck Camper Cover was very easy. It took me less than 5 minutes to have it on correctly. I also LOVED that it came with its own storage bag.

This cover fits my RV better than my previous cover, it's light and compact which makes it easy to store and handle (about 1/2 the bulk of my other cover). The elastic in the front and rear hold it in place right away without having to tie it down, Installation and removal is easy which means I can put it on more often, It has yellow reflectors sewn into the front and rear to keep your guests (or kids) from driving into it at night.

The motorcycle cover did much better than my umbrella. The few drops of rain that were on the bike are because it had started to sprinkle before I could get the cover on. But for the massive rain it went through I have no problem certifying this, "Panama rainy season waterproof approved."

Road Wrap & Rug Wrap Review


The Rug Wrap and Road Wrap are two pretty great products. I must admit that I did like the Rug Wrap more than the Road Wrap, as it was a bit easier to use and I could see myself using it on a regular basis. Whereas the Road Wrap, did serve a great purpose, I don't see myself using it as much. However, I would without a doubt recommend both products. They both do a great job!

American Armor SUV Cover Review


It fits my Jeep Wrangler perfectly. I am so pleased with it. It is the softest material that won't scratch my Jeep's paint. It is 100% waterproof and blocks UV rays since the outer layers are made of Dupont Tyvek. One of the neatest part of this cover is that it's an American made product. It comes with a nice mesh bag so that when we are taking the jeep out and about we can easily store the jeep cover.

The material of the cover itself is very nice. The inside of the cover is soft yet tough. The outide is also a soft material but tough as nails. Tugging and pulling on the cover, it was obvious that this cover is tough. I don't park under any trees, or have small woodland animals near my home, but I imagine that this cover will withstand small branches that may fall on it.

We have a little pop-up, and it is so nice to have a folding camper cover to protect it from the elements! The cover is very well made, and I love that it arrived with no extra packing to cause waste. It has heavy-duty elastic, so it fits over our camper nicely. The cover will prevent mold and mildew growth, extending the life of our camper. It also helps protect against sun damage, which is really important when you live in Florida!

We had looked at covers in stores; however, what we found was not close to the quality of this cover. The quality is much better than I expected and the material is mold and mildew resistant. We found it easy to put on and take off. The bottom of the cover has elastic all the way around it, making it easy to stretch-to-fit. We start camping either in March or April and quit in October.

I'm even a stickler over the fit of the cover, which is why I was anxious to see how the new cover I got from Empire fit over my Audi S4. When I first opened the box, I was intrigued with how it came packaged... in its own "pull-tie" bag made of the same cover material. A nice touch. Even nice to find while I was putting it on the car that it is sewn and attached to the cover so you don't loose it. Another nice little touch.
