Soichiro Honda: The Beginning of Automotive Efficiency and Reliability
Soichiro Honda started the Honda Motor Company in Japan in 1948 after World War II when fuel and cash were scarce. He wanted to produce an inexpensive mode of transportation. From the humble beginnings of a simple small engine attached to a bicycle frame to the Honda motorcycles of today the transformation has been remarkable. The American Honda Company began in 1949 with the introduction of the C100 Super Cab motorcycle.
The first Honda automobile was introduced to Japan in 1960 but not until 1970 for the United States. The small size made it unpopular to Americans, who were used to larger vehicles. In 1973, however, the affordable and fuel efficient Civic changed many minds.
In 1982, the consistency of reliable and well-built automobiles sent the popularity of the luxurious Accord to the top of the charts by 1989. In addition to the Accord, there is now the Insight, CR-Z and the Civic available in sedans and sporty vehicles. The Civic is also available in hybrid or natural gas models. For more rugged or four wheel drive vehicles there are choices between the Crosstour, CR-V, Pilot and the Ridgeline pickup.

I have purchased three car covers in the ten years I've owned my Honda S2k, each professing to be "waterproof" and none actually being so. I decided to make one last-ditch effort to find a cover that actually does what it claims to do - repel the water, and ordered the Empire Waterproof Cover. The day after receiving the cover it rained on and off for two days and when I removed the cover there was not a single drop of water, not even a hint of moisture anywhere. This cover is great - it performs exactly as advertised and, the best thing is, I found it at the unbelievable sale price [...] It is easy to put on, remove and stash in the trunk when not in use. Great product, terrific price and I admit to being one very satisfied customer with not a single complaint. Wholly recommended.
